I am a qualified yoga teacher with the BWY (British Wheel of Yoga). My journey practicing yoga has supported me for 25 years from being gym active to pregnancy and more recently through menopause. My aim is to share my knowledge, experience and yoga philosophy to everyone as I believe yoga can enrich as well as simplify life. I believe yoga keeps you in good health, as well as prepare you for the aging process so you stay in good health. I offer classes online and in a small group setting at a beautiful, renovated studio in New Barnet, Herts, UK.
If you have breath, you can do yoga.
No two classes are the same. Each time we approach the mat we come with a different energy & mindset and with this in mind every class is unique. The principles of Hatha yoga are you move your body slowly and deliberately into different poses that challenge your strength and flexibility, while at the same time focusing on body awareness and relaxation.
I encourage you to find the meaning of your practice. You may feel lighter, your body loosen, aches and pains lessen, and your mind becomes clearer, calmer.
My classes are fun, sensitive to all abilities with a strong focus on relieving tension and going at your own pace.
Yoga is a method for restraining the natural turbulence of thoughts, which otherwise impartially prevents all men, of all lands, from glimpsing their true nature of spirit. Like the healing light of the sun, yoga is beneficial equally to men of the East and to men of the West.
